Join us on an Alaskan Cruise | July 3–10, 2026 (Optional Denali Land Tour)

Picture yourself standing on your private balcony as massive chunks of ice crash into the bay at Hubbard Glacier seven miles wide and 76 miles long. The crisp Alaska air fills your lungs while eagles soar overhead and whales breach in the distance.

Alaska is a destination that takes your breath away with its glaciers, wildlife, and landscapes that feel larger than life. In July 2026, I am organizing a group cruise to Alaska with Celebrity Cruises, and you are invited to join.

Why I Chose This Specific Itinerary

My first Alaska cruise was a round-trip from Seattle. It was wonderful, but it didn't allow us to go deeper into Alaska's interior. I left wishing I had seen more, especially Denali National Park.

That's why I chose this specific itinerary for 2026. You'll still enjoy the Inside Passage, but you also have the option to extend your trip with a three-day land tour to Denali and Talkeetna. This offers you a rare opportunity to experience both Alaska's spectacular coastline and its rugged wilderness.

Two ways to explore Alaska:

  • Cruise Only: 7 nights, July 3-10, 2026

  • Cruise + Land Tour: 10 nights total, July 3-13, 2026

The Balcony Lesson I Learned

On my first Alaska cruise, we booked an oceanview room. It was lovely and offered a large window with endless views. But when we reached glacier days, I found myself wishing we had a balcony. There is nothing like stepping outside, breathing in the crisp Alaska air, and watching the ice drift past.

That is why I encourage travelers to consider a balcony if possible. Those glacier moments are worth it.

Pro Tip: For Alaska, a balcony takes the experience to the next level.

A small boat moves across a calm sea, with tree-covered islands and misty mountains in the background. Peaceful and serene atmosphere.
